The vision that started it all
In 2015, Miracle on Main Street founder Donna Zeigler had a vision. She saw a light going down the center of Main Street, businesses flourishing and being blessed with shoppers. Several days later, her sister Carol called to tell Donna about a dream she had of a light streaming down Main Street. Jesus is the LIGHT. Donna felt her sister’s vision was confirmation that she was to put a plan in place to bring hope to Christmas for children, keep Christ the center of the celebration, and attract shoppers to local businesses on Main St. The live Nativity continues to be the centerpiece of the event and is made possible by Pastors Dan & Jan Owen. That first year, Donna walked up and down Main Street to share her vision with local business owners and organizations. Their support has allowed Miracle on Main Street to continue to provide and evening of FREE entertainment and HOPE to children at Christmas time. It remains Zelienople’s largest charity event as each year it blesses so many with financial contributions, children’s coats, food for the food bank , assistance to single mothers and so much more! It has been a joy to work alongside many volunteers who give of their time and efforts to bring HOPE to Christmas.
How We Help
Each year we select a main charitable organization to focus our fundraising efforts on. The 2024 beneficiary is The Harmony Fire District.
Along with our annual charitable selection, we support several charities on a continual basis. The Kids' Weekend Backpack Program, Southwest Butler Food Cupboard, a children's coat drive and a single mother's assistance program are a few.
Below is our 2023
recipient - In Toto Community Resources. We were able to donate $5,000 to their organization in 2023.
